Back To School Drive

Jeanne learned the value of an education at a very early age. She knew that school was a safe place where she would get the knowledge that she needed to succeed in life.

Like Jeanne, the many foster children in Michigan see school as a safe place, a place to get a warm meal and get an education. However, many of them go to school unprepared, without the right school supplies. Help us provide the proper tools for them to succeed this school year.

So, how can you help?

Organize a drive at work or in your neighborhood

• Challenge different departments to collect the most backpacks and school supplies
• Collect money to donate to the Big Family of Michigan Back to School program

Build a backpack

• For around $20, you can build your own backpack and deliver it or ship it to Big Family of Michigan
