WHAT WE DO

Big Family of Michigan is an organization helping to make life better for children waiting to be adopted. They work with adoption organizations, foster parents, social workers and the children to try to help make sure all are working in harmony and the children are receiving the love, care, and items they need and require to become successful adults.

OUR MISSION

Purpose:
To train and educate people who are in positions to recognize and report child abuse and neglect, and to help Michigan’s foster children to regain trust

Vision:
To break the chain of child abuse and neglect by helping today’s victims become tomorrow’s survivors

Values:

• We value the role everyone can play in stopping abuse and neglect.
• We value the potential in all children.
• We value the need all children have to be loved and encouraged.
• We value the trust instilled in BFM to use donations in a responsible and efficient manner toward achieving its goals.
